Whom to Blame: Is it my SEO software or is it Google?
I admit. Prior to hearing about SEO tools and site promotion trade, I was of the opinion that Google was incredible. I Used Google to look for everything from people, to visuals, to news to strange gadgets and naively trusted the search outcomes. Then I found out about SEO programs and an entire business focused on Web promotion, and my search habits changed. But even before my discovery, after doing some philosophical musings, I got an inkling that search engines, Google included, know far from all, and reveal to the users even less than that.
My search escapades soon persuaded me that Flikr is a more comprehensive image data bank, that with the assistance of Digg I can access interesting current events stories without the need to rummage through Google search findings (rummaging seems more appropriate than Google search), and human search is better administered by Facebook. It seems like every time I look for obscure objects on Google, the results are almost always inaccurate, to put it mildly. Try searching for SEO products and other SEO connected subjects on Google and you are almost ready to surrender your patience. I mean, come on, what’s the relationship between SEO applications and career websites or Internet casinos? Gladly, in my disappointment.
So when news of best seo tools software and the entire field built around it came into my humble worldview, my suspicions about websites appearing on first page of Google grew exponentially. Do they merit to be there and whose fault is it, Google or site promoters using SEO products. The moral quandary is vast. Do I quit using my SEO keyword ranking tool or do I seize using Google instead? I resolved that I can’t turn away from Google just yet. At least not till the decent competitor enters the picture. For now I will keep juggling between Blekko, Google and the above methods to complement the SERP mess that Google is. And, oh,yes, I will continue using my SEO products.
Frankly, SEO applications is the reason why people like me get found on the Internet. Sophisticated as they are, Google Web spiders are unlikely to find some no-name dude and rank his website well. In this regard, I am a steadfast fan of SEO products and non-paid search. If it was all about the cash, the multinational giants would destroy me before I knew it. And there are 1000 corporations on the Fortune roll! But here is another thing that irritates me and other check backlinks users, I am sure. There are individuals who invest in SEO apps and use them to sell dresseson employment sites and the like. What we are left with is junk that not only lives on the net but is also well valued by Google.
What is the public reaction to this? They search for SEO tool reviews and will instead find disconnected content. They get disappointed. So much for the “Internet justice”. Does this imply that SEO application and service industry is harmful? Probably not.
The abusers of SEO applications need to stop bastardizing the Internet but it’s like ordering hackers to stop hacking. The unfortunate side about it is that black hat SEOs are abusing the prospect to be noticeable on the Internet that is given to the little person like myself. For now users just have to tolerate them. One can only hope that Google will put more emphasis on spotting the schemers unethically using SEO products, and if Google doesn’t, the competitor search engine will.
